Anna Yatskevich, who created “Cobalt Net” design, was awarded a gold medal at the World Exhibition in Brussels in 1958. The design was inspired by the relief trellis pattern of “Her Majesty’s Own” service made under supervision of the inventor of Russian porcelain, Dmitry Vinogradov in the middle of the 18 th century for Elizabeth Petrovna.
Hand-painted “Cobalt net” encompasses snow-white surface of porcelain, with bright golden crossings shining all over the item rendering an classically delicate overall impression. “Cobalt Net” items are exhibited in the collections of the State Hermitage, Russian Museum and in the other treasure-houses of art.
